Project Details
".embedded" is an artistic endeavor leveraging the intricacies of photogrammetry 3D files of human body sculptures. This project explores the transformation of these sculptures by altering material, light, and environment, effectively dissociating the artwork from its original context in terms of both meaning and materiality. A distinctive feature of this project involves enveloping the sculptures in a plastic-like texture, simulating a vacuum-sealed effect. This creative process is reminiscent of presenting food items in a marketplace.
The execution of this concept is carried out in 3ds Max, utilizing the capabilities of Corona Renderer. The primary objective is to experiment with lighting and textures, pushing the boundaries of digital rendering. A significant focus is placed on achieving a realistic plastic appearance, which is further enhanced through cloth animation techniques.
".embedded" stands as a testament to the potential of digital art in reimagining and recontextualizing traditional art forms. Through this project, new dimensions of perception are explored, challenging the viewer to see beyond the conventional understanding of art in its material form.
