This paper presents a framework that integrates scientific data and artistic techniques to reconstruct cultural heritage assets, creating a life-like digital experience that captures the “spirit” of a historical era. Beyond merely recreating physical structures, the framework incorporates elements such as landscapes, people, animals, vegetation, clothing, and tools to reflect a holistic historical context. The Mahperi Hatun Caravanserai, a Seljuk-era site, serves as a case study, where an interactive environment is developed using procedural texturing and photo mapping. This environment features 3D characters and assets designed to evoke the Seljuk period, offering users an immersive glimpse into the past.
